Dr. Amruta Paranjape (Physiotherapist) is the Vice Chairman of the Managing Committee of Asha Ek Hope Foundation. She has contributed in various ways to expand the work of foundation so that many patients can be benefited. She has worked closely with ALS patients as a physiotherapist. She has also co-authored 3 patients guide book on Muscular Dystrophy, Neuro Rehabilitation & Cerebral Palsy. She has co-authored ALS MND Guidebook for patients. Her aim is to keep ALS patients as independent as possible and to maintain their strength. Her caring, responsible and enthusiastic attitude is cherished by all patients and their families.
She is currently working as Head of Aquatic Therapy Department and Research Associate at Neurogen Brain and Spine institute, Navi Mumbai. She has acquired MSc in Applying physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University, UK and is a certified aquatic therapy (Halliwick and Bad Ragaz) practitioner from Switzerland. She has more than 10 scientific peer reviewed publications to her name in the field of stem cell therapy and rehabilitation. She is a Committee Member of Alliance professional forum of International Alliance of ALS/MND.
